Meet me in the forst of shadows
The dark enclosure which grips my
heart
Searing my mind, burning my bones
Driving away hope and
elation
A world in grey - grey of all colors
Shades dull and
dim in hue
Step beside me into the palace
Sit on the throne of
spoiled dreams
With me watch the skies
Broiling clouds ensnared
in the fog of desire
Snarling wild as a beast
Fanged as the creatures
below
Unearthly shadows coiled like serpents
Reigning like gods
of the warring skies
Preparing for a battle
Over my mortal soul.
