!FIRST AND FOREMOST!
To even be considered for the prize, the title of your entry must include the words "The Trickster"
Example: William the Wonder Gnome, The Trickster.
Example: Fart Whistle (The Trickster)
Example: Rake Sponge Spoon_ The Trickster
I don't care what kind of sorcery you have to manage, the title better have those words or we're not even going to read it.
ONTO THE MAIN EVENT!
For this contest please write, or submit a past work, that tells of a tale of mischief, or describe a mischievous creature doing what it does best.
Fairly simple, eh? Here's the kicker...
I will award an extra 5 ducats to the winner if he/she uses all of the following words in their poem!
Here they are:
Feisty
Spleen
Risky
Biscuit
Gloom
Fiddle
Analytical
Bedash
Remember there is no set structure or theme, so just try and get them all in there!
Here's my judging scale, fair and square.
25 Points
Creative Merit: 10 points
(Good poems usually are written when the author takes time to write a good poem, does the poem have a point? moral? story? or is it just whining?)
Element: 10 points
(Metaphor, Rhyme, Allusion, Allegory, Format/Structure, Alliteration, Simile, Personification, etc. At least something, used, not overused.
Meter: 5 points
(A good poem is easy to read and the ideas flow well, simple, this is a poetic element, but crucial enough to hold it's own 5 points. Poets usually tank hard here)
Good luck, fellow rapscallions!
