Still, Poetry Will Rise. Results

The aftermath of the 2016 election has found many Americans, (as well as our neighbors and other citizens of the Earth) seeking solace—and wisdom—in verse

My hope for this contest is to curate a collection of poetic dissent that can stand the test of time.
The only requirement is that the work highlights the dangers of the current administration that is being led by populist demagogues hiding behind the propaganda of misdirected patriotism.

All poetic styles, structures, and formats will be accepted. However, special consideration for works incorporating the technique of the Beat Generation will be given special consideration.
Simply because Beat is my own personal favorite style of poetry.

Poets should denote their work has been submitted for consideration to this contest in their optional authors note on sketch pad in order for me to identify contest related submissions prior to the conclusion of the contest.

I look forward to reading everyone's works and hope this idea I came up with pans out.
