  • "Such a flow here. I like the way you separate your stanzas in unexpected ways. A lovely painted image in my mind now. I have my own runish thorns but never thought of them this way until now."

  • "Too many have suffered the fate of taking that involves giving only suffering. Too few find any release, and by the poem I can't tell if the perfect someone is death or if someone who has taught you to love again. I hope for the someone, not the death. You didn't deserve that."

  • "This is the first Fallout poem I've ever read. Excellent. The gray seeping in is why I can't bear to play it. Being stuck in a vault with all the personalities and agendas...that would be a greater hell than becoming the incinerated shadow on a wall. Well done."

  • "We are to become igneous. This is how the phoenix rises. From below the atmosphere, sure, it seems as if its laden wings are headed nowhere. Its fire must become one with the air that even now feels too heavy. ... but...what is air when eaten by fire? The heavier, the more oxygen it gives to burn. The greater and stronger wings become. Asking these kinds of questions means you won't be numb forever, and that alone is everything to live for. Too few ever ask. "

  • "That's what it's all about, right there. Stop seeing the illusions taped and pasted onto our reflection in the mirror. Tear them off and what's real lies beneath. So beautiful, this reality you see."

  • "If someone were to ask me what being drunk was like I could just let them read this and know that they were getting the very best advice on the subject...but most " drunk" s aren't this well captured. This is more like an expert in drunk s that has talked to a hundred drunks and written a poem conglomerate of all the best parts of each one. Awesome."

  • "This is something I've thought about in melancholy. I will say it because you've been so brave. Every mistake we make is because of the desire for change. You're so right. As with Rome, humans seem to require madness and destruction in order to alter present course. I hope it doesn't get this extreme, we all do. But it may. Well said."
