  • "I'm not sure if I should laugh at this comment or be sad, because this is what I've noticed around this place."

  • "I love short poems. This one was a slow build up, it felt like a storm approaching knowing that it'll kill you. Then the ending, pow. I'm reeling. Great write."

  • "for some reason, those 'just for today' moments hurt more than the rest. You see the ending, but you can't stop it. This hurt. Wonderful."

  • "I reread the first stanza a few times. I couldn't get into it. I almost gave up. I forced myself to continue, and I'm glad I did. All together, this makes up something beautifully simple."

  • "it's like completing the edges of a puzzle, when you find that one that makes you feel this way. The rest, it just falls together from there."

  • "hah, understandable. I strive for optimism, but typically get caught up on the little things that make the big picture look so bleak. One day, one day."

  • "I believe pride plays a part simply because it's at that moment that one has the choice to either fight back, and show weakness, and a need for another person, or let them go and show the strength go on alone. Pride is a fickle thing, one that I will never fully understand. And yes, the subjectivity is more directed at her here, and the way that the same thing can make people feel so different at different times in life. I often wonder what would happen if the human mind decided to stop making life and love confusing for us. Would we be happier, or would the complacency be worse than the heartache that we have now?"

  • "This had an enchanting feel to it. Very beat like, with a touch of something deeper, if possible. I enjoyed it."

  • "There is something so longing in this. Wanting so badly to help, to be helped. This hurt to read."

  • "I'm not a fan of rhyming the same word over again for the entire stanza. It really takes away from the reading of the piece. Interesting concept though."
