  • "Through the ritual of summoning, as if recreating that which was caste before Time swallowed the world, we come to know Despair in her full array of grays; she offers no solace, and in cold pastoral, she leads us by your words to rest without peace. Wordsmith beckoning, this here. *fire* "

  • "This made me chuckle.... I think it'd make far more impression if the digits in the title were transposed. Seriously, a pretty girl like you will find a fertile future, doubtless. Enjoy youth! "

  • "*your* name.... *reverse*... interesting use of directional figures..... backwards... upwards... as if to iterate with a difference... with differance, as Derrida would write. All the best!"

  • "no scent stains our senses longer than the decay of love, maybe. The one shot at immortality, the one comfort that can contend with complete loss, perhaps... when that dies... all has failed..."

  • "forgive me if I didn't read the rules... but I liked the personification, especially the claim that it is immortal, the leader of the procession of deadly sins, the mark of the fallen, the exiled. A train untoward... the immortal, in Kierkegaard, if I recall correctly... God... is the very possibility of coming to know the self. But if we move down the timeline to Sartre.... then wouldn't it have to be a fictional train to a conceptual nothingness that resides only in false faith? Maybe...I liked the notion, anyway... made me think for a bit. thanks and good luck!"

  • "nice ending.... as I was reading I was thinking rumors.... secrets are an inner demon if kept well.... they fester for long. But secrets spread, well there's the rumor, the gossip, the beast of tongue set among us... that's what breeds paranoia, what kills eventually. maybe. But anyway, I liked the ending, nice irony. welcome to the valley. "
