  • "This is a soothing, piece with a gentle hope to it through the imagery of the hummingbird. Although it is caught between breezes, and thus stuck beyond its control...it is ultimately a condition that will pass and a breeze can be chosen to that will take it somewhere it intends to go. Wonderful imagery! I especially liked the lines "the fabric of everything tore away and i trembled as i felt it fly from me beyond my overly soft reaching empty hands full of scars daydream stains wrapping my fingers" - quite stunning. I agree with Drea's assessment of the dreamlike quality of your work. Ciao, T/S"

  • "I love the beauty and movement conveyed in this piece, especially in the lines "what a proper and polite truth the seasonal alchemy is breathtaking my heart breaks with the beauty beats in a myriad of minuets descending with every leaf." Stunning work, my friend! Ciao, T/S"

  • ""i wonder what sadness fills the trees that they cry in such vehemence to shed their arms so bare" - wow, beautiful imagery! I love how you are able to look at the commonplace with such a unique lens. Ciao, T/S"

  • "So much powerful, sad, vivid imagery in this piece. For some reason the imagery of "trying to restitch the shape of you upon my sleeve into something other than lost" especially stuck with me. It made me picture the part in Peter Pan where he was trying to stitch back on his shadow. Ciao, T/S"

  • "Love this one and can relate well to it. The lines "as i sit with hidden fingertips that in their reaching became too cold from waiting" elegantly capture that feeling of earnestness and steadfastness being overcome by physical reality. Lovely piece! Ciao, T/S"

  • "I am still so flattered by this one - my father had died on Oct 8, 2008 and I was in a dark place. This was such a needed refreshment to me at the time and I still read this for encouragement from time to time when I am down on myself. Thank you again, old friend! Ciao, T/S"
