  • "Wow! Lots of wisdom in this piece... I am in my 50's now and I am starting to feel this too - things not done, realizing there isn't another 20 years to throw away on something poorly planned and executed, looking at the ages of the people in obituaries... There is definitely a need to focus on what I want to be known for by my children after I am gone. The piece about what my final thoughts are likely to be is also sobering. Time is short, precious, and unbankable! ...and things said and done can never actually be undone. Thank yu for the reminder, dear Worm! Ciao, T/S"

  • "It provides an environment where anyone can put their thoughts and creativity out there, for almost nothing...but still the easiest way to be noticed is to be loud, profane and mean-spirited...or, of course, feign huge offense at small things... Very interesting times. I think technology is amplifying our ability to communicate our collective personalities and morals...and, as a result, we are realizing we are generally a bunch of douche-bags. : )"

  • "It was an interesting take on things. Lots of positive and interesting results of recent technological advances...but in the end it also makes things easier to disseminate and promote the base parts of our culture and human nature. You can get all of Shakespeare's works for free whenever you want to read them. You can have any book you want downloaded into a small light device. But you can also access the cyber bordello of the billion plus dollar porn industry...at any time...which by the numbers more people choose to do that read Shakespeare. "

  • "I was listening to an old "Girl on Guy" podcast interview with Seth Green last night and he observed how FB had brought teenaged worldview to adults... "Here is the music I like"; "Here is the fashion statements I make"; "Didn't (insert actresses' name) look tacky at the Oscars? I know, right?!" He said it was a new kind of superficial frivolity that can now be quantified, unlike when we were young, where it was mostly abstract. I have 200 friends, but she has 950 friends. Only 2 people liked my comment. "

  • "Fantastic piece - you captured so many emotions with this one. This affected me as much as Milkweeds and Such, although in a much different way, of course. "
