- "I wonder, if you recall, was your mental state when you wrote this somewhat disconnected from the world around you? It seems like you were exploring the inner parts you your soul and just jotting down what you felt along the path. I do love it when words come from such a deep place that they feel like an image of what is inside. I particularly like that the perspective seems to be that of an outsider looking inward. If you did that on purpose, you're a genius, and if it just happened, bravo for being so expressive. ~ By the way, I do hope you're wrong about that last line."

- "You have an interesting duality here, between the darkness of the storm and the darkness of the forbidden path. I always enjoy when one set of words leaves two meanings to ponder. ~ I too love the storm. Here in Colorado we have been having heavy thunderstorms in the evenings in the evenings. Yesterday I sat on my deck, watching one such storm roll towards me, feeling its wind and hearing the thunder. Amidst this tumult is one place where I can feel a sense of wonder and peace. Perhaps it that the chaos outside then becomes a reflection of my emotions. - I look forward to experiencing your other works."
