- "Most Doctors will always convince you that you need to be on medication , because it's in their best interests to have as many of their patients on as much medication as possible , because they get kick-backs from the drug companies. Tropical Snowstaorm gave you some good advice there too ... it's dangerous to just drop some meds. cold turkey . Perhaps you could find a more sympathetic health care professional who will help you get off the chemicals if they are not agreeing with you and perhaps find a more natural approach. I also reacted badly to their unnatural interference with my thought processes... ( the drugs and the doctors ) ... I hope you regain your peace of mind and strength of will ~"

- "You have to actively discuss this with your doctor, it can be dangerous to go cold turkey. Also, unless you were put on them for no reason, whatever your symptoms were can come back in force. Someone I knew kept going on and off his meds and he got increasingly worse. Good luck to you, I know it has to be hard. "

- "I thank you for your input; perhaps more natural meds would be better. I don't know. All I know is that the meds I've been put on only have me going from one extreme to the other, and it's not good. I'd like to be completely free of these meds. They obviously don't help with my depression."
