LightHouse
By Jonas
Fog horn echo the ocean invisible
From across the flats
I hear a quiet and menacing allure
That suggests an inconceivable intensity
That lends no heed to my presence
Or the calculations of my existence
Now the evening fogs and mists
Touch my skin, gently, as a lover might
The voices of the sea seem to
Personify my heartache
The salt-tang of the air is
Bittersweet memory,
Like the eyes of first love
I am gripped by a solitude
That raises cries of fire
From dead blood,
A relentless silent passion
As like to the crashing waves
As one may come
Over the waves I strain my ear
To hear her voice... faintly, faintly
faintly calling my name
I yearn for home

yearning for home... home being on a plane of existance not quite this one, parallel- you can sense it, but can't get there from here... or maybe here is really there, and there's something you need to unlock the true sight of the world...

"I yearn for home." That summed it up perfectly for me, what a good way to end your work. Bravo!

I like this nostalgic..neglectant feel of...maybe a homesick mood...in the emotional sense?
