A Dream of a Dream in a waking Dreamers way.

By Angelic Darkness

The puppet master is here
He watches my unconscious with kind cruelty
As I lay hidden in dreams.

I swim, out of the darkness, only to sink, even deeper as he keeps me.
I felt the pull, trying to hard to claw my way up.
I felt his arms once. In a dream.
A Dream of a Dream in a waking Dreamers way.
Perhaps I just thought that I felt the dream become real and the reality become my dreams.

Sometimes I’m not sure if I’m awake or asleep.

My mind wraps around itself not letting my think.

Sometimes I scream just to hear my sanity
And sometimes I laugh just to feel the stab of pain in it.
I open up my mind and words spill out,
Conversation snippets full of all the doubt I hold.
Hold within without through out my life and helping me to die.

I don’t even make sense to myself anymore.

And I dream of a dream of a day I'll awake from the pain and insane reality.
