~cats~eye~

By HisStormdancer

two ghosts flank the devil
deepening midnight
deep in your thought
point your ears to the sky
there's that holy fellow
scaring elves to buried treasures
sunken dreams surfacing
out liars they dissipate
princes fall from horses
and you see your hands clear
purer than the holy water
spouting in your vinery
more reflective than his darkened sword
now you know sweet ecstasy burns,
lord knows i didn't
so drop your shoes and run
to these shady skittled arms
though not always what those who watch would have me
not a chameleon
though not a demon
not vanilla
and not anything down...
do you know...?
just yours.
