Joshua

By HisStormdancer

The way we feel:
The taste of you upon my lips
Lingers like a memory,
Tingles like fear,
Sears like a ember
Pressed into the palm of my hand.
Your fingers leave imprints
Invisible to the outsider’s eye,
But vivid to ours.
Being wrapped in your arms
Seems to stop time,
Makes me forget everything else.
Words spoken by you
Leave me glowing and in disbelief;
You are too extraordinary
to be real.
