What has she become

By StAinedNblood

She's silent
Never moving
Love has failed
And eyes forever scared

This heart keeps breaking
While tears flood her face
Lost in thought
His embrace is gone

Broken like butterflies
And a heart like daggers
A pale face in the dark
Of a once little girl

She's nothing but memories
Living in letters
Dotted with hearts over every "I"

The photos still move
They play in her mind
Like still framed movies
And soundless lullabies

This reminds me of looking into the mirror in a semi dark room. It's sad and familiar...more people should read this...it's going in my favorites
