How Could You Love Me?

By ashottothetemple

Don’t I wish you hadn’t said that…
::grabs a needle and thread::
I’m going to sew you lips shut…
I’m going to end your tyranny for good
You control freak
Deal with it because I refuse
Swear to it,
I refuse
To give you one more chance
To make me blush
Make me smile
How fucking dare you!
I saved you from hell
I took you far enough
Now I’m stuck with you
I have to hear
Every kind and gentle word
Over and Over
You’re like a love song that
Stays on repeat
What did I do?
To deserve this kind of pain
I say the meanest things
Raise my hand to you
:Threats:
:Beatings:
Expected to find you with
Your wrists bleeding
Instead you made me a feast
Kissed my cheek
And said “Thank you”
Welcome Home…
Just stop the smiling
Please, it hurts too much
Why can’t you just kill me?
Not one more day can I
Live with the pain I’ve caused
All because I thought
I didn’t deserve you
I’d say I was sorry,
But you wouldn’t allow it
“You didn’t do anything wrong hunnie.”
I’d smile and later, after you’re fast asleep
I’ll stop your torment
I’ll get a noose
Make sure it’s tight
And hang myself in the tool shed.
