revelations written for the enquirer

By Jonas

find myself entangled
in the supposed
blessed scripture
your words accursed or ascended
bled or bent
i can feel the shift and change of the air
like train approaching
subway station
empty mostly brick
incandescent light
slightly yellow wavelengths
my stomach turns
but yearns to swallow ever more of this
silent mass
rare sliver of a moon
ritual
silver bathed touch of polarized obscurity
the absence now found in the essence
this negative light
does little to satiate
alley cat eyes
wan and wary
though i accept the beauty in the attempt
hustle to the concrete cracked corner
answers wrapped in pretty tissue paper
a bit thin and brittle
acid yellowed
dog eared
hugrily devoured on
babylon's solicitous silken bed of empirical thought
or it is said
but lip service is not hard to come by
though sometimes some things are so easy to believe
answer properly at your babtism
the binding incantation of your
declarative statement
pre written
an enzyme for ease of digestion
just lets get the facts straight
before we advance to an exchange of blows

it seems a memoir of elevated philosophy and thought. forthright to yourself, interlaced with "self" moral overtone; a mature and indoctrinated language you speak, well done my friend, well done.....uh
