Saviour

By GreekPhilosopher

Looking toward the vast expanse of space
Looking towards something else in another place
Waiting for all things to come to light
Waiting for a glimmer of hope to sight

Hoping that all anticipations were not entirely dumb
Hoping that the saviour would eventually come
Praying for the time that was promised to arise
Praying for something not really a surprise

Hearing that truly we should not falter or stray
Hearing that our salvation was not so far away
Seeing our dreams finally have come to be
Seeing the saviour and knowing that truly we are free.

This had a very interesting texture. A glimpse of the turmoil and anticipation that comes along when placing such weight on a deity. I likes. ~JMDW~
