Even The Purest Of Heart Can Fall

By MidniteBlaze

No words to describe it
a blank stare upon everyone
watching over everyone
a magnificant view
city streets and cars roll by
fifty seven past eleven
the time rolls on by
he reflects on the good times
but mourns over the bad
and the negatives outweigh the positives

No more
he says
no go
why bother
he thought

What insanity
to come from one with a heart so pure
one who helped others
even if it meant hurting himself

Smiles in pure vision
but frowns behind closed doors
who really cares
he states again
no more

The moment at hand
a sixty second time limit
tries to feel better
and blow it off as usual
but his attempts have failed yet again

Tried so hard
got so far
but what does it matter
if noone is there
if noone cares
no more
he again states

Magnificant view atop the city
but intentions are already set
no reason why
no logic to his motives
his present day of birth spent well
pitch black is the view of his present birthday
with a trace a blood spilling from his head

He was risen to the heavens
to be dragged down to the pits of hell
wherever he ends up in the end
he really does not give a care
because his perfect life
or at least that is what people thought
no more
