grand scale ablution
By manunkind
cracked hooves pound crowns
of mighty kings
yellow lace wedding dress, a phantom in a tree
deserted and broken homes
a kingdom of over achievers
bones with the names of lovers
carved desperately, crudely
music playing
music playing in the ghost of a memory
exhausted night sky and wilting stars
a constellation of decay
full color photographs and dull toothed smiles
a land divorced with the cosmos, with fate
the last man and woman on the earth, strangers...
make love and die in each others arms
him, 32
her, 56
The souls of used choo shoes floating
down
a yellow-brown haze river
and into Hades
where it's owner awaits
mass graves of congealed intestines......
human parts in compost heaps with melon rinds
rabbits nestle dens in silicon factories
opal eyes gaze
into
the future
and stand sentinel
in the gateways of the slaughtered hunters
married couples internally bound
in last vomit kisses
acidic and soul searching
a lone survivor left to roam
bare foot upon
glass strewn asphalt
looking into the bleeding heavens
for an
explanation
that will
never
be
offered.
god is not the answer?
lying on the yellow grass
for hours
that
may actually be days?
wearing nothing at all
serenaded by the
CRREeeekiNG
of rusty metals
becoming dust
and then matter
and then energy
she begins to see
clear waters of legend, peak from garbage bin rivers of humanity....slowly....slowly...
the body more natural than
waking up and going to work every morning....
eyes have become clouds
and see only the earth as it is.
sweat and dirt the most
natural
parfume
cows graze in grocery stores
and disco balls crack into tiny
pieces and dissolve into REAL light
lilies sprout from sidewalk
weed...
willows weep to reclaim their domain...
the sun peeks out of the clouds....
and the
world.
begins its long process of purification
human ablution.

Very raunchy, with the kind of imagery that jumps up and chews your face off. Nicely constructed, impactful write.

You describe your vision with impecable scrutiny. Those very details illustrate such vivid colors and images that each line is evoked from pure imagination. So very well done!

This is the most amazing self posessed piece, i am truly in admiration at such talent, you have evoked such subtle metaphores and soft velvet words juxtaposed against hard truths

The reversal of the status quo, of the ordinary every day, what would it be like to see it differently? I think you know...
