Sweet Darkness
By DarkReality
The night calls
Running swiftly on feet of stars
Flying on wings of moonlight
Creature of the night
Eat of the darkness
Drink of the sky
Untill it all disappears
I of the darkness
Need no affections of this world
Hiding behind my fasade
Needing no one, asking nothing
I am the night
and I owe no one

ah, the portrayal of the dark mask. it is worn by many. the mask itself is not darkness though, merely a shield from light.
