repercussions of last night

By shortandpretentious

& the smile i recieved from you
led me to believe it would all
be alright, this momentary distance,
spring is not so far away.

i wish i still had the warmth
of your voice
in a bottle under my pillow
for nights like these when i saunter home
to empty rooms with flickering lights

You never disappoint no matter what order I read your works. The sign of a fabulous poet making me wonder what your writing is currently like today.
