We'll See You When We Get There

By darkness_descends

Though you're gone we'll never part,
You'll never leave our hearts.
Come the morning dawn,
We'll know you've moved on...
To a better place.
Somewhere up above,
And you'll always have a smile on your face,
You may be gone but you'll always have our love.
Many memories will remain,
But now you're free from the pain.
You'll never be far,
We close our eyes and there you are.
We'll never miss the twinkle in your eye,
It will be there when look at the stars in the sky.
Tears will spill,
But hearts will heal.
You're in a better place high in the air,
But we'll all see you when we get there.
'Til then we'll miss you,
But everyday we'll send our love up to you,
And hope you hear.

I completely understand the feeling, because one of my friends just died from cancer, and its sad to think about, that you feel empty and what not.-Mike
