dreamsurreal escape (feat. Life is Beautiful)
By knightmirror
crushing to the touch
a whisper contorts
your every sleeping
moment.
as you lie there looking
so peaceful the comfort
quickly diminishes
as the reflection
of your past lives
resurfaces through
placid nightmares
grasping for the silence
once granted to you
dreamcatchers murmur
and dance
mumbling and stumbling
across this crowdedancefloor
bumping into friends
and foes that seem to have
taken the night off
from harassing
one another
to enjoy the beauty in the hate
you frantically spin
in a daze of confusion
while toes creep about
with soft white ribbons
delicately plucking your string
harmonious melodies trickle
like a summer drizzle
drying up before you can
even really enjoy it's
calming sensation on the back
of your neck
still you appreciate it's
neverending
attempts
confiding in
comfort reassures you
for the next play
on words of dust
set apart across the headboard
of hell
burning under these
scorching satin sheets
of silkfire
weaving a coccoon for
my weary soul that
needed to rest its wings
taken advantage by the caniving
crumbling carcass'
i jest
at the thought of escape
as i caress
the rust stained blanket
of incisions.
as i violently cut
these ties that
bind us down

Simply wonderful!
I see depth in your painting
of words to the page.
