Being Of Shadow
By Stormcomin
Tumultuously redeemed
Of demons to be dreamed
Alone I walk the darkened fields in shadows
Through agony, I desire
Of mis'ry, I require
My secret's well revealed within the shadows
I speak to death on tainted winds that chill the depths of fearing
A horror sans the flesh of man, my will is real and nearing
Insufferably replayed
My dying time delayed
I roam, a haunted chronicle of shadows
A whisper of dying life
An echo, born of strife
I've watched, belied in darkness of my shadows
I am the barren wash upon the shores of my creation
A shadow bred by wanton thought, my end, my own damnation

ahh, delicious imagery, the truth of this piece stabs right through me, those last lines are emphatically powerful.... the driving force behind pounding the message to stay with me. Brilliant. Thank you.

hell yes! The "I speak to death..." couplet is fan-fkkn-tastic. Reminded me of Martin Walkyier's lyrics (Sabbat/Skyclad), and that's high praise from me indeed. >:) Excellent.
