Love Poem (#2)
By shortandpretentious
She turned to me and she said-
get this-
happiness is only a
nickle's throw away
to which I replied:
the cigars hidden in my
top left drawer
dance when it's closed
and mock me in the dark
that's why they're hidden
I don't think she understood
But she smiled a fake smile
As the cigars danced miles away
And the professor droned on.
