Why won't he die?

By ashottothetemple

The image in the mirror
The smell of my tears
My naked soul, bearing all
To your

CoRrUpTiOn

Brush the sweat from my brow
Wipe the blood from my eyes
Tear away the layers
Of sentimental lies

Why won't he die?
This mask I hide behind
Painted face and dark red lens
Black on black on black on pale white

Bleeding with your caring cuts
Your scars are artificial
Mine are yours, created, signed
And copyrighted by your

BACKstaBBing

I refuse to hide for you
anyMore
I won't take it to
hearT
I won't believe your
WorDs
I'll kill myself first
