three saints

By mysticventures

Hindu, Christian and Buddhist

Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, the Dalia Lama

Truely, the saints of modern day man

Proof to all who would see,

That there is no one true path to holiness

and that each,

in their own way,

through their own faith,

can know god.

So where's the connection?

It's in the ego

Or rather,

the lack thereof.

For in sacrificing ego,

they have given themselves over

to their faith,

their spirit

their god.

They have shared with us

their godly strengths

and their human weaknesses

and have given us a vision,

of what could be,

if we but follow their lead.

And in so doing,

have shown the world

thru faith,

love,

compassion,

and humility

that in the individual -

god does exist
