Baptism by Death
By ONEANDLONELY
Caught in a spiderweb,
Everything is, as it is.
The unfathomable horror.
Struggle.
The fly surely does.
No comfort.
The hunter waits...
Exhaustion,
acceptance,
embracing life
the beginning to the end.
The end is near.
At this moment,
he is re-born.
The fly is dead,
the victim born,
twinned by the same soul,
sharing the same shell.
He knows only now.
Living in a moment,
changes the reality of time.
A lifetime lived in an exhaled breath.
Good and evil do not exist.
There is only,
this.
As he grows old,
The collector awakes...
