Life's Horrors (Rant)
By Lifeless
I realize people have problems and face horrors everyday. I empathize for
them and my heart goes out to them. What I find hard to listen to are the
pussies who bitch about simple mundane issues and act like their world
is falling apart. The people that don’t know what real life horrors are
who cry publicly in a pathetic attempt for sympathy should be taught what
real problems are. Instead of envisioning me pulling out their tongues
with rusty vise-grips I’ll try to get my point across in this forum.
Have you ever been told by a sibling they don’t remember you being around
much growing up, but knowing you were always there?
Do you have difficulty recalling a time when your older siblings didn’t
beat you?
Have you ever had parents that never spoke an ill word to you, never beat
you, but couldn’t recognize a cry for help?
Do you remember the day you realized that your parent neglecting you was
considered abuse?
Have you ever had to photograph a 12 year old boy who blew the majority
of his head off with a shotgun?
Have you ever had to photograph an innocent 3 year old girl with so many
welts from her lower back to upper thigh from a belt whipping session from
her father that you couldn’t find an inch of normal colored skin?
Have you ever had to photograph and autopsy of a woman who was eight months
pregnant that included her baby that didn’t make it either?
Have you ever seen a coworker’s brain splattered across the highway from
an accident you didn’t cause, but you were tried and sentenced for it
because the person who did cause the accident got people to lie for him?
Do you have a felony conviction for charges that you were actually innocent
of?
Have you ever had to work in an environment where everyone believed you
were the cause of death of a co-worker but knew you were innocent?
Has your body been broken so severely that you had to spend six months
hospitalized and another six months in rehabilitation?
Have you ever seen a couple pushing a stroller with twins and the parents
were screaming at the top of their lungs and swearing at each other in
public then punching each other in the face and worry about the babies
seeing the possible hopelessness of their future?
Have you ever hurt your child so much that you’ve never heard the words
“I forgive you” from her?
Have you ever tried to talk things out to someone you’ve hurt when your
heart ached so much to do so but told you don’t matter enough to be heard?
Have you ever slashed the bottoms of your feet time after time and walked
on them all day to punish yourself and still feel it’s not enough?
Have you ever been so close to suicide that the noose was around your neck?
Do you ever regret not making that final jump?
Have you ever been told by one of the top psychiatrists in the state that
they refuse to see you any longer because you can’t get over the barrier
to forgive yourself for the horrors you have inflicted on others?
Have you ever been told by your one true love that you are the only one
who matters to her when she all along had three others?
Have you ever renounced your God and cursed him?
Have you ever gotten a phone call telling you that one of your best friends
was killed?
Do you believe there is any hope for true happiness in your future?
Do you put on a mask with a smile to let those around you think everything
is okay?
Have you ever slumped to the ground crying then transitioning into sobbing
for hours not realizing time passing to the point the sun had set and you
were surrounded by darkness?
I have
I do
I have
I do
I have
I have
I have
I have
I do
I have
Mine has
I have
I have
I have
I have
I have
I do
I have
I have
I have
I have...three times
I don't
I do
I have
Yes, my horrors even pale compared to some
I don’t cry out for sympathy
I don’t cry out to complain
I sought out help quietly, but that didn’t work
I bear my burden alone
Those with true life horrors can cry all you want and I will weep with
you
Those who seek empathy that don’t know what true horrors are…I’ll
get my vise-grips

i agree...people who cause their own problems by the choices they make have no right to complain...most of the time those of us that have problems that we did not cause don't sit around and complain about it...
