And So I wait...

By Syn

and so I wait...
for the time when I can heal the sick,
when I can make pretend,
when I can fathom the riches of this place.
and I wait, for the dimmest light to shine upon me,
freeing me
saving me

I am devoured by the animosity,
shunned by their curiosity,
and lost in this catastrophe...

But I wait...

And these things will come to the end,
as I long to find a friend,
that compassionate one
that will hold my inner soul,
captivate me

And the heavens will rain on me,
drown me in life
But for now I sit and contemplate,
the reasons of my being...

And I sit and wait.
