A Single Red Rose (An Ode to Solace)
By Syn
Upon a large field, rolling and green
There stands a single red rose
This rose stands along the base of a tree
I sit and examine it's beauty, each petal perfectly placed
and flawless
I am reminded that this perfect creation is only a mirror of what mystical
force has created it...Us...Life.
As I watch throughout the day the petals start to release...opening themselves
to the wind.
And, oh! To be like the rose, trusting with the ability to open up and
to stand alone and survive.

The picture of the rose opening up to survive...Par excellence...Vulnerabilty as a means of bettering oneself...Truly made my day, truly...Thank you very much...
