On the Day I Die

By maddin foxxxy

On the day i die you'll know
that you will never see me again
yet you will feel my soul
caressing every pain you gain.

On the day i die you'll know
you did not give to me enough
that you could give much more
when mostly you played tough.

On the day i die you'll know
i was in 2 things very right:
that i'd be the first one to go
and that you'd miss me that night.

On the day i die you'll know
you will never love as you did
you will never kiss as you did before
there will be a missing thing you need.

On the day i die you'll know
you should've said what you didn't say
and praying won't make me come
and crying won't take regret away.

On the day i die you'll know
it was me who you loved the most
and realize, until then, that i'm gone
that you'll have to love a ghost.

On the day i die you'll know
you should've forgiven that day
when i begged you for so long
yesterday i stood, but that day there i'll lay.

On the day i die you'll know
nothing will be ever the same
love or you will stop to grow
you will try to forget my name.

On the day I die you'll know
there is a promise as to never be apart
you'll lean to me and place a rose,
stare into my face and know you killed my heart.

ON THE DAY I DIE I'LL KNOW
YOU'LL TRY TO THROW ME AGAIN
AND FROM DEATH I WILL SEE,
BUT THIS TIME WITH NO PAIN.

You should never take love for granted because as quickly as it was found it can disappear and leave eternal pain and regret in it's place. Great job! ~Darkness~
