Catafalque For Christianity (religiously offensive)

Mindless legions of blind faith
Walking behind the cross wasting lives away
Believing what you are told to believe
Closing your eyes to what is plain to see
Living by a book filled with tales of lore
Praying to the child of a virgin whore
The world doesn't need your pious indignation
Not everyone seeks the "lords" salvation
Or believes in pointless idolatry
We don't need your deity
We don't want to buy the lies on which you've been sold
Daring to challenge what we have always been told
You are always hiding in the shadow of the cross
Persistent on convincing those in the light that they are lost
It is you who are duped by a virgin whore
And the evangelist whom she bore
Let fire consume the crucifix
Along with the book that has been shoved down our throats and made us sick
Let us sew the seeds of sight
Beneath the dark of night
That we may lift the veil hung before our eyes
And evolve past ancient lies
It is time we vomit the nefarious inhibitions
From the days of old that gave way to emotional prohibition
we are made to feel envy, lust, rage,
Greed, desire, distrust, and hate
It is not human nature to try and suppress
Half the range of feelings we possess
The time has come to stand and repent
All the beliefs we have grown to resent
It is time to take back the world we roam
From the holy hell that will not leave us alone
The time has come for us to scream
To give in to our vengeful dreams
Strike back against the miasmic clergy
Display their rotted, soulless corpses on the catafalque for all to see.
