"Bittersweet"

By Forever Cold

Walk in shadows
Shrouded in pain
No pain is greater then this
What she feels
Everyday.
It’s what makes her
And what breaks her,
And it dose break her.
Every day she walks
The void grows ever deeper.
And the loneliness consumes
But her face still shows a make shift smile.
Giving everything in her for any love
As it is pushed further down.
Even gods can feel her pain now.
Scarlet tears fall from her face
Every day she losses faith
So many lives had once touched her
Now leave her cold as stone.
She loved them,
Nothing can cut her deeper
Then the wounds love inflicted
For everyday she is with out
Left another scar up her arm
Another broken piece of her falls away.
She is tormented by the loves
That once touched her,
So much deeper then she ever believed
She let them take of her
Every thing inside of her they raped
And left for dead.
Never caring that she is human.
These faces in her head kill her
Remembering loves past….
Is bittersweet.
What thing can release her from
This pain?
She searches the horizon for her one
A kindred, in this entire world that destroys her.
Just for a moment to remember bliss..

Almost to painful to hang on. Is it worth trying to get something so hard to have?
