Whisper On the Wind

By darkness_descends

Just a whisper on the wind
A voice fading again
A former comfort disappears
Washed away in these salty tears
The same old story
Never disappointing
Stuck alone
Where do I go
With this frustration and rage
This damnation through hate
Turned inward on myself
My white hot burning hell
Ignoring pleasures forbade
Reaching for my blade
To calm my pain
To bleed it all away
Leaving behind another scar
Because comfort never lasts
Always becomes a memory past
Never to be regained
A former high never again to be attained
And the sadness sets in
Just a whisper on the wind.
