Sleepily weeping
Quiet cries
Surprise awaits
Whether for good or bad
For better or worse
Vows said,
Never kept.
Love everlasting
Lest it last no longer than forever
How long is forever?
Till the death of one or the other?
Or death of both in unprecedented times,
Unpredicted and untimely?
“They went too soon”
“Life’s too short”
Phrases said leaves these questions:
How much time is too long?
Is it forever, infinity, eternity evermore?
Or is it past a hundred years or a thousand?
Questions arise from futures not visited
Questions arise from pasts remembered
They say curiosity killed the cat,
But they never mention how satisfaction brought it back
Nay… Is satisfaction the revival of life?
Then with that in truth-
Our sins and immoralities should bring about immortality.
If immortality exists, what form does it exist in?
The damned? Those condemned to live a life in hell on earth?
Or if good in our hearts are we reborn as mythical fae?

Oh my... Missy! I thought I wouldn't see you again, how are you? Beautiful piece, beautiful in macabre reflection to me. I too have still been writing, just haven't been able to afford to upgrade to post more, lol. PM me!

I haven't been writing as much and I do miss it, and when I do write I'm starting to think they'd make great song lyrics so I'm hesitant to post them on here because they're mostly incomplete.
