Never Nothing

By happilydepressed

In the vastness of never
Where thoughts and ideas are lost forever
Filled with things that might have been
Searching for the yang only to be lost in the yin

Where love and happiness were never born
Such things here are forlorn
The potential is dying
The will isn't worth the trying

But we can't dwell in the never
The questions are many but not a single answer
No blinding light illuminating, just nothing at all
Nothing, not even this little scrawl

It's not something lost or left behind
Searching but nothing is all I find
Never why nor because
Is it nothing or never was
