Summer's End Curse

By happilydepressed

A cry in the wind
Strong till the end
Weeping are the trees
Gone is the feeling that frees
Unbroken is the curse
Still to come is the worst
Takes the sunshine
With it the joy both yours and mine
Gazing up at the moon
Knowing it'll all end soon
Swimming and fishing
Constantly wishing
The summer will continue
And when you arise the skies are still blue
And the grass is green
The worst is yet to be seen
The cry i can still hear
We'll have to wait until next year
