What is it?

By Silver Spectre

What is severance to the ocean
When its body is complete
What is indifference to the wind
When it knows nothing of deceit
What is in you that hurts me so
Yet keeps me on the edge of my seat
What is it in me that follows
The paths where fools believe
What is my breath to the mountain
What is it from you in me

I've been looking at this little what box wondering just what I can say that will let you know how much I like this. I can't think of any, so I may have to comment later.
