...Endings of an eternity no longer spending

...All the sorrows of the world can be felt in this song...
...Oh the days before today, do I long...

Juxtaposition—A sunset sky // Dark thoughts as you die

Is this my life now?
Reminiscing of a sunset dream that always ends
Waking to screams?
Silence //So loud as I wear this sorrow shroud
Perfume of your past sprayed upon my pillow to remember
Sweet scents //Rotten remembrance as my eyes open and you’re not there
Tell me how I am to care?
Where with the one I love, I can’t share
Lurid waking moments
I find myself in a canyon of despair
Never have the stars been so far from my hands
You life flowing through my fingers like sand
I try to hold tight, though no matter my might
It spills through the crevasses and it’s just not right
Tell me how to move beyond?
I know I’ll never be the same
I used to smile with you in the rain
Now only sadness permeates as the storm, it reigns
Leaving me in the end, drained
Desire to leave this world
Stained with unbearable pain// tears they can’t see
memories of you and me
Maybe now they will see
How much you meant to me
My body lives on
But the man once known is now gone
Perhaps in time you’ll see a glimmer of what once was
A happiness so many years ago, I thought could never be
I have lost more than you
I have lost…Me

I really liked your manuscript, kept me going line by line. Sadly, we come in pairs, and each time we get broken in ways we don't even realize, I've learned to cry in silence, clean my self up, smile and pretend nothing is going on, but for how long will that work?
