Shadow

By LIFEINVADER

Present and alone,
silent and faithful,
even when the night,
compels her to absence.

She, shows what I am,
the truth of my silhouette,
that no mirror achieves.

Tied to me,
because there is no other choice,
but I feel its escape,
when they light up the skin,
and the borders of my self.

My shadow,
defines the course,
of certain promises,
hides from anger,
of dogmas and pacts.

My shadow,
subtle ruler,
of the future of the stars,
haughty prevails,
even in the vigil of the night.

She, my shadow,
feeds on the pulse,
and the dim rays
of hope.

Always present,
but always alone,
lengths without limit,
until confused and twisted,
into a new shape.
