Change

By LIFEINVADER

Right now I start,
I have to pronounce my verse,
as a pact to myself,
and none else.

I recognize my fears,
in every daily look,
on each finger pointing at me,
and in criticism, of my good intentions.

I accept my madness,
but I also intend to redeem it,
making a pact to the forbidden.

I have collected unmeasurable deliveries,
reaped intrigues and scorn.

Now I'm ready,
to be reborn from the air,
without fear of judgment,
of those left to oblivion.

I declare myself immune,
to the failures of love,
to the fate of loneliness ...
also immune to the abyss.

I make a pact, with my strength,
and with my weaknesses,
necessary for the momentum,
and eternal existence.

I join with my fears,
my deepest fears,
and everyday horrors.

I am mine, and the world, is part
of everything that I define in my steps.

I am of pure selfishness,
and of vital altruism,
a promise, also, a rite of beauty,
that decorates the moments,
to live among the absurdity of the world.

I have to start,
and turn on the lights,
with the eternal fire, of perfect images.

Here I am,
bare of pretense,
ironclad with poems.

Signing a pact with metaphors,
that make the spring eternal,
where I smile of happiness,
to the deepest of sadness.

Recording the will,
that yields my truths,
to the power of my own balance.
