Shout

By LIFEINVADER

i will try not to spend mere words anymore on the living plains,
for in my dreams, the velvet has been torn,
an agonizing conscious dawn,
a light above the ground sets fire to the sky,
and the threads of that fabric in the inhuman nightmare,
form stars and tiny suns,
they smile back with strange faces,
there are so many voices,
shouting,
ashes, dust, smoke, dust, ashes...

the profane screams that lurk in my mind,
hurricanes of light that close the shackles on me,
for a moment everything turns white,
burning white,
time stops,
the dawn changes to a mime that sneaks,
ever so slowly to the cracks of my self,
forever silent but, with such an irritating laugh,
the voices are now a turmoil,
a vortex of murmur,
they shout,
ashes, dust, smoke, dust, ashes..

my dear, i dream that i burn,
that i'm a charred remain of bones,
shouting,
ashes, dust, smoke, dust, ashes,
i burnt through the wind,
fog...

nothing....

This is very powerful, and the line "for in my dreams, the velvet has been torn" outstanding.
