A second

By LIFEINVADER

how could such monstrosity harbor a heart?,
with my infinitely pale skin,
which exhales beauty through all its nooks and crannies,
could it be that my soul,
infinitely black as night,
exhale any feelings?...

maybe we could love each other,
as poachers into the face of darkness,
hidden among the caskets,
under the cover of the shadow vault,
shrouded within our thoughts,
empty planes of hell,
maybe we could just once,
unite our fearsome mouths...

what is a kiss, when eternity is so long?
what is just one kiss,
your lips against mine,
stealing immortality for just a second....
a second to love?
