Lone beginnings and accompanied ends

By God Is In The Rain

one step further and two steps back
slowly i rise from the last low
peppered by tips on proper life
by shells who dare to think they know

i wish to be so bold again
i wish to see past silver line
i wish for badge beyond months’ old
i wish for all, for none, for dime.

dial in ears, and credit gone
long list of names too tiring to read
addresses all listed in sent
never to reappear in received

the sky shares its shades with concrete
i keep forgetting which is which
seems death doesn’t take desperate calls
just bruises, concussion and a stitch

it’s all-out war among three sides
me, reaper and healthcare degree
it’s all-out war among three sides
where neither party wants me

and i have no clue how this tale ends
every outcome has something unfair
all i care to know is - starting now
when i let go You will be there
You will be there.

A totally striking and novel approach to the despondency we can feel, and the do-gooders who know which way to go; whether we ask for guidance or not. Cheers GIITR! - Dan

In its own way, this was a brutal read and really tugged at the emotions.

Sorry, I know its rather clunky, but I have no idea where exactly not to mention how to fir it. I have no native English speakers by me so my melody proof reader it online text to speech. Thanks for the coment btw, Its been over a year since i stopped writing and so I didnt expect anyone to read even this.

I didn't see it as clunky. I rather enjoyed it, despite it being a look into the darkness of the human psyche. Welcome back and hopefully you stick around.
