It Never Dies

By jacktorrance1

It never stops
The psycho-paralogical warfare
We need to get away
This is what I was afraid of
A wall where there should be an escape
Hey man
He grips a jagged piece of plate
Why are you doing this
It doesn't matter
My blood soaks the floor
He pierced an artery
I know
I couldn't stop him

That dream. Pink, organge perhaps? A hammer caved his skull? Certainly. A thing that could only be briefly repelled, never beaten. Something that killed again, again. Then the man with a piece of jagged plate. Laughing murder in his face. Eyes of pain. Totally insane. He opened an artery in my hip.
