Embers

By LethalEpiphany

We dream dreams
sweet raptures swathed in plumes of pink
dripping softly into the red abyss

And the screams
like lights along a hall
following no reason
nor needing to

We sleep, embers
crashing from the rooftops we've burnt
with our venomous passions
to the rooms of innocent victims
