The old ones

By forgottenwish

I am the night
I am the sun
I am the memory of the forgotten one,
I am a simple wish made by the father of the father;
The imagrant on a ship, the imagrant on the river,
The slave crossing a deserts to digg ditches and work in a sewer
I am the dream on calloused hands
The drop of water that quenched thirst of dying man
I am the strudy body that perspireed
an old hope to inspire the burning soul for you to admire
