The Last Night Of A Drunk Mans Wife
By Elizabeth kaczocha
You've done it.
You've finally done it.
You have broken me beyond repair.
I finally had to start thinking of me.
You went to far, and I don't want to die.
I had to remove you from my life.
I have to let go of my fear of being alone.
I've done what I must to preserve myself.
You may never understand, but this is over.
I have to look out for me now.
Goodbye.

Being around an alcoholic can be exhausting. Alcoholism is a far reaching disease that affects those around them. I know first hand. I've been sober for 6 years now. Best thing I ever did. Thanks fr sharing. JD
